Roosevelt Island has a rich lore, from once being used for hospitals and prisons to now being a residential community popular for its iconic tram and stunning views of Manhattan’s East Side. We will be exploring the unique blend of urban and suburban life, historical architecture and golden hour from this not-so-hidden NYC gem.

OHNY Weekend invites New Yorkers to gain a deeper understanding of the city by opening the doors to notable spaces for three days of visits, guided tours, and other special activities led by architects, engineers, designers, public servants, community advocates, curators, and more.
