A seminar and workshop with art world luminary Jill Conner on the topic of crafting an artist biography and statement.
Tuesday, October 7

This workshop is designed to be engaging, practical, and customized to the specific needs of each participant. We will focus on creativity and collaboration, and provide plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning.
Wednesday, October 8
Learn to prep narrative like a pro. Derek Gross, ICLS, IA52 gives insight to his pre-pro process and how he works with his team to give them the most options on the shoot day.
Thursday, October 9
Four jam-packed days of pop culture, film and TV studios, studio and brand activations, comics, celebs, authors, voice actors, panels, and geeky goodness right here in NYC. And most importantly, a home for heroes, villains, and nerds to be accepted and embraced. ($80/day

This may be the last opportunity to shoot at this property as the future of Dunnington Mansion is uncertain going into 2026. 12 spaces are available (three groups of four photographers).
Connect with ICP's community during our monthly Cameras and Coffee social meet-up for photographers, collectors, and camera enthusiasts! During the event, grab a Deadbeat Club coffee and pastries, available in the ICP café.
Participants will apply what they learned in Understanding Your Camera Workshop. This will be a hands-on session with cameras, with participants practicing changing camera settings, compensation for varying light conditions. We will practice composition using set ups, considering the effect of light quality and direction, distance to subject, focal length, and f/stop.

We'll meet and walk across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, taking pictures as we go, reaching DUMBO as the sun sets to capture the Manhattan skyline during the "Golden Hour".
