Monday, August 11

Tuesday, August 12
Join us for a Canon Macro Photography Event on August 12th! Learn, shoot up close, and create stunning images in a hands-on setting.
Join us for a photowalk heading east through midtown with our resident street photographer Derek Fahsbender. Learn how to think on the fly to create interesting compositions as we capture the madness and movement of one of NYC’s busiest areas.
Part 1 will meet up at MOMA PS1 for a walk through the museum from 12-2pm. Then we’ll walk down the road to the Long Island City Waterfront where we’ll enjoy our time by the water enjoying the sights from 2-4pm!

This month join us for an evening photowalk along the water in lower Manhattan during golden hour and sunset.
Join us for Open Studio Fridays in August at The Photocoop! The Coop studio and all our lighting equipment will be available from 11 AM to 3 PM for you to create and experiment. No reservation needed — just drop in and shoot!
Hangout and meet NYC based creatives, build connection and friendships.

We're expecting another gorgeous morning as we have been on a roll this summer with beautiful Saturday morning weather. We meet at Southdown Coffee - Northport around 8AM. For this shoot our goal is to create portraits ranging from monochrome to color through the use of lighting styles that compliment each set. We will start with dramatic lighting sets for our Monochrome Muse set, next dramatic glam for our Glamourous Gowns set and lastly colorful glam for our Creative Couture set.
