Tuesday, August 5
SERVICE: Bring your Fujifilm camera in for complimentary service by one of our certified service team members.
Claudia Bloom, owner/founder of Rock Locations, will discuss how she launched her company and why; how it began to take off; how it’s going now; and what she hopes for the company. She’ll share the ups & downs –challenges and successes – and then guide you to helping to find your locations for your location needs on your production jobs. Have your questions ready on location scouting!

Learn how to use a snoot and softbox
Following the path of a photographer, from camera mastery, natural light, external light, modifiers, career focus and niche focus. All classes are free to attend!
Friday, August 8
Join us for Open Studio Fridays in August at The Photocoop! The Coop studio and all our lighting equipment will be available from 11 AM to 3 PM for you to create and experiment. No reservation needed — just drop in and shoot!
Shutter is a photo event — centered on (pro)dommes — for kinksters, photographers, and artists alike. Whether you’re behind the lens, in front of it, or making the magic happen behind the scenes, this is your chance to create beautiful, bold, and unapologetic images in NYC’s sexiest venue.
Saturday, August 9
Join us for early morning photo wak around Northport Village. Bring your camera or your smartphone as we welcome all regardless of level of experience. Need asssitance? We're here to help. We meet at Southdown Coffee-Northport for a cup or 2 of coffee before we head out. Great spot to meet up to see everyone before we head out. Afterwards, if you like, we head over to Historical Shipwreck Diner for late breakfast. The Jazz Age Lawn Party returns to Governor’s Island, so we are heading there to photograph it.
