The Nanlite pico has officially launched — and we’re selecting 100 testers to try out our new pocket light… for FREE! July 16 – August 6
Open to all!! These classes will take place every Thursday at @8thecolor with limited class sizes. Each class will last 90 minutes covering Camera 101, Composition, and Lighting! These classes will be lead by professional photographer @coloredshot | Please make sure to double check the event to see the most up to date times etc.
Hangout and meet NYC/NJ based creatives, build connection and friendships. Free food and cash bar will be provided!
Friday, July 18
We'll be meeting up at the Bushwick Community Darkroom between 5-5:30. At 5:30 we'll head out into the early golden hour evening light and work our way across Bushwick through the Bushwick Collective to Orchid House Studios where we'll spend about an hour taking advantage of their gorgeous golden hour/sunset light before heading across the street to Pine Box Rock Shop to enjoy some evening happy hour drinks!
Join us for a Photowalk around Chinatown and visit to Art on the Ave’s Evolve Exhibit with Katie Godowski @katieg_photo. We’ll meet at the current exhibit and take in some beautiful art, then head out for a walk around the Chinatown area.

Each participant gets a disposable film camera to use along the way, Join us on Saturday, July 19 at 8:30 AM for a relaxed, camera-in-hand jogging tour through Central Park, designed for early risers who love a mix of movement, creativity, and nature. We'll start with a light warm-up and set off on a scenic route that blends iconic landmarks with peaceful, lesser-known corners of the park.

Join us as we explore and capture the myriad photographic opportunities at Grand Central Terminal on Saturday, July 19.
Practice 3-point lighting among other basic setups, and get introduced to how cinematographers and gaffers use light to tell a visual story. This essential workshop covers electrical safety, on-set vocabulary, and principles of light, all while providing hands-on opportunity.

Anyone into the Retro/50's Vibe, come join us. It will be an Automotive/Model outdoor shoot. Plenty of cars/motorcycles to model with.
Super excited to announce our upcoming Private Pool one-on-ones w. Alexandria Pascucci! Our location is a private residence in Clifton, NJ. This location has an in-ground pool and yard area. You are open to requests what wardrobe and theme you would like to shoot during your time slot.

Join a small group of photographers and document Freshkills Park’s transformation from landfill to 2,200-acre park. This guided tour is an opportunity to see and photograph the unique engineered landscape while the site is closed to the public. We welcome photographers of all skill levels, but you must bring your own equipment, whether a digital camera, film camera, or your phone!
