Our mission is to give artists, students, and professionals a place to meetup, network, and share their knowledge and personal works.At this event, you may present your work and projects to a panel of various relevant professionals, who will give their feedback and provide any help that's needed. We’re teaming up with @soulsinfocus for a Photowalk Hike in beautiful Beacon, NY on May 31st! Join us as we explore, shoot, and build community surrounded by nature. Meet us at Grand Central Station at 10AM — we’re hopping on the 11AM train to Beacon. Feel free to meet us there or take your own route. Bring your camera, your curiosity, and your hiking shoes!

Hone your street photography skills with a hands-on photo walk across the Brooklyn Bridge! In this image making activity, we will meet at ICP on the Lower East Side and walk downtown across the Brooklyn Bridge, ending at Photoville in Emily Warren Roebling Plaza. While learning basic photographic techniques, participants will use whatever image making device they have (smartphone, iPad, camera, etc.) to document what stands out most to them. The photo walk will last approximately 2 hours and is led by ICP alumni Lucia Buricelli whose work can be seen on view at Photoville this year, and ICP Faculty Hannah La Follette Ryan.
Receive key feedback and guidance on your photographs and stories, and learn which courses at ICP could be right for you! Led by ICP faculty, Photoville attendees are invited to sign-up for one-on-one portfolio reviews of their work. Sign up to participate in this portfolio review in person starting at 12:30 PM at the ICP Tent. Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Limited spaces available. Bring your work printed or on a personal, charged, laptop or device.
